Found to be the ABS was running, it was not running the night before as I had to get my kids homework out of the car, only way to stop it was to disconnect the battery or take out the 40amp fuse. I drove to a ford dealer fuse out, to have a diagnostic done, turns out to be the module and pump total Quote

Have you considered contacting Ford CRC for assistance with the cost? What makes you say that this is an obvious known fault? I've not read this one about MK3 Galaxy/SMax/Mondeo before on the net?
